I live alone in a small place and when looking for a countertop oven I researched all that were available. I have the .9 cu ft Waring countertop oven that is about 4 years old. I've never had any problems with it and in fairness to Waring, one needs to learn about baking in a countertop oven as opposed to a full size 8000 watt oven. It might take a bit longer to pre heat and one should always use an oven thermometer. When you place a roast or bread dough, it will drop the temp and you need to watch the thermometer. You might have to crank the temp up a bit, but even in a full size oven the numbers on the knob are rarely accurate. Once you catch on to this, this oven does the job. It may not have a bunch of bells and whistles, but there are fewer things to go wrong.
One thing I like about this size oven is that in NM summers I can take it outside and bake on the porch and not ad heat inside the house.
I never believe just one person who sounds disgruntled in reviews. This shows up if there are several reviews but when there's only one, do some research. At the time I bought this oven I researched all that I could find. It works and is trouble free, what more can i say?
